Some of us fortunate to share our time with people who have the same passions and interests and if we’re really lucky we have the chance to work in the area we love.
At the Academy we have been fortunate enough to have had that experience-working in whisky and getting to share that with some students who love it as much as we do. We’re feeling pretty fortunate.
Our original plans with the Tassie Whisky Academy were to bring the perfect combination to an intimate whisky education experience. So the fun of a tour, but with a hands on element giving students full access to the industry. An intimate, inclusive experience.
We ran our inaugural course today and our students gave us the thumbs up.
The crew joined Head Brewer Dave Magill at Moo Brew to learn about producing whisky wash and a full run through from Pat Maguire at the award winning Sullivan’s Cove.
A really great day and one we enjoyed sharing with our student crew. Just the start of some exciting things planned by the Academy.
