Big crew for January’s Intro2Distilling course
We possibly had more fun meeting our massive bunch for the January intake of Intro to Distilling, than they did taking part. Nah – it was all pretty fun! Sullivan’s Cove Distiller Heather had a hoot running us through the process and tasting. February is just about full so we’ve just opened May and July courses – sign up now!
We’ve been busy since Christmas. Firstly our January course was booked out and so we jam packed a lot of fun into just one day. The Introduction to Distilling education experience with Moo Brew and Sullivans Cove continues in February with our last Summer course just a few days away.

The Academy’s first industry event will take place 27-30 March in partnership with the Institute of Brewers and Distillery (IBD) Asia-Pacific. The amazing Alan Barclay will be delivering the 4-day residential event in Hobart and people interested in learning more about the technical side of distilling are welcome to join for the event, dinner, and fun surrounding the event. It includes the curriculum from IBDs General Certificate of Distilling and visits our home venue, Willie Smiths and McHenry Distillery. Come for just 1 day, or for the whole event (Whole event $1790 incl).
